In 1956, the entire world was almost destroyed by a nuclear holocaust
in The Day The World Ended. A few mismatched survivors straggled into a
protected mountain valley only to be terrorized by a three-eyed mutant, a
product of the hell on earth created by man's madness. This monster
threatens one beautiful leading lady in particular. Mysteriously attuned
to each other's minds, the mutant abducts the heroine and is destroyed not
by man but by a cleansing rain shower.
Mutant and Girl depicts the mutant striding across the rocky ground
carrying the barely conscious young lady. A victim's skull lies nearby.
The mutant was Paul Blaisdell's first movie monster suit. This kit not
only represents this movie first but is the first double figure kit made
in America. Ten pages of detailed instructions, three pages of fun facts,
a large 8" X 14" color illustration, a foreward by Bob Burns, and a
signed and numbered edition card come with this limited edition (300 kits)
resin casting that stands around 12 inches tall. |
